Spiritual Growth Groups

The "Spiritual Growth Group" is the gem in the Sunrise Chapel setting. Developed in the 1990s by the founding pastor and his wife, Frank and Louise Rose, it expanded to other congregations to serve many more people with its practical, life-changing approach. Each session includes a "task" that allows participants to practice a spiritual principle in daily life. The first 12 tasks are explained in detail in the book, The Joy of Spiritual Growth. A second book is in the making. Altogether there are 72 tasks. To learn more or to find out about

Annual "Journey" Spiritual Growth Programs

These are spiritual growth programs designed to serve people who want to take a meaningful and positive step in personal and spiritual growth. They are interactive, and create opportunities for individual study, building friendships, finding support, and becoming more connected. There are typically three core components: individual study, small group participation, and Sunday worship. The purpose of the programs is to help people make progress on their journey in the context of a supportive and welcoming environment. You can participate at whatever level you prefer, absorbing new ideas through listening and reading, or contributing your own thoughts and reflections during discussion times.

Join our next "Journey" program - called "Shift" - starts the weekend of February 5, 2012

Thursday Afternoon Book Study / Reading Group

Classes are held at Sunrise Chapel on Thursdays from 1:30 - 2:30 throughout the year with occasional breaks. If you are interested in attending the classes, call or email the Pastor.
